Air Receiver Tanks are pressure vessels designed to store compressed air and maintain a stable air supply in compressed air systems. They act as a buffer between the air compressor and the air distribution network, ensuring consistent pressure, reducing compressor cycling, and improving overall system efficiency. Air receivers also help in separating moisture, oil vapors, and particulates from compressed air before it enters downstream equipment. By providing temporary storage and stabilizing pressure fluctuations, Air Receiver Tanks enhance compressor performance, extend equipment life, and improve the reliability of pneumatic systems. Our Air Receiver Tanks are engineered and manufactured in accordance with international pressure vessel standards, ensuring high structural integrity, safety, and long service life for industrial applications.
The Air Receiver Tank stores compressed air generated by the compressor and releases it when system demand increases. This storage capability allows the compressor to operate more efficiently by reducing frequent start-stop cycles.
Additionally, when compressed air enters the receiver, the sudden drop in velocity allows heavier moisture droplets and contaminants to settle at the bottom of the tank. These contaminants can then be removed through a drain valve, ensuring cleaner air for downstream equipment.
